Job Title: Multi Trade Operative
Location: Reading
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description
Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Responsive Repairs team as a multi-skilled operative with a high level of competence.

We're looking for an individual who is multi-skilled in plumbing as well as taking on the task of delivering carpentry maintenance repairs/installations.

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in completing a diverse range of trades tasks to a high standard, with a focus on delivering efficient repair services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing and carpentry repairs and installations to domestic properties, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.


• Carry out tasks such as plumbing in sink/wash hand basin/bath/WC, tiling, lock changes, carpentry and joinery, kitchen & bathroom fittings, maintenance of sanitary ware, patch plastering, and decoration works.


• Achieve quality in multi-trade work, complying with health and safety policies and statutory legislation.


• Provide technical advice, support, or guidance to other departments within our organisation


• Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team, offering support where needed to ensure effective and efficient services, especially within contract teams.


• Participate in an out-of-hours service on a rota basis.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a relevant trade.


• A Full UK Clean Driving Licence


• Previous experience in multi-trade work.


• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.


• Achievement-based work ethic and motivation.


• Ability to work as a team player and independently.
