Oncology Nurse

A brilliant new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Staff Nurse - Oncology to work in an exceptional private hospital based in the Bingley, West Yorkshire area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



The hospital provides care to patients on an in-patient and day-case basis with five operating theatres offering surgical procedures in a number of specialities including Orthopaedics, General surgery, Bariatric surgery, Plastics, Urology, ENT and Gynaecology for Private and NHS patients

As a Nurse your key duties include:



  • You will be responsible for supporting, assessing and advising cancer patients throughout their treatment

  • Help patients through treatments and assessments, understanding the results of tests and how they may affect patients

  • Maintain clear and accurate records for each patient on our EPR system and organise any referrals as and when required

  • You will be supported by a SACT senior lead cancer nurse



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Recent experience administering chemotherapy in acute healthcare setting

  • Oral and IV Chemo administration

  • Pump disconnections

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proven ability to work within a team and work independently as required

  • Experience in organising and delivering oncology care



The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £26,500 - £31,750.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working from Monday to Friday.
