About the Role

A reputable Legal 500 law firm based in the Edinburgh area are currently seeking a Projects Associate (Procurement) to join their team.

As a Projects Associate (Procurement), you will be responsible for overseeing procurement processes for various projects.

You will work closely with the project team to ensure that procurement activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for projects

  • Manage procurement activities, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships

  • Provide procurement advice and support to project teams



Requirements

  • Experience in procurement, preferably in a project-based environment

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Confidence to implement procurement strategies, drafting and negotiating documents.



Qualifications

  • Lawyer/Solicitor 3+years PQE must be on the Law Society of Scotland or SRA

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Procurement or related field
