Job Description


Slough Borough Council seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Care Contracts and Systems Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to a small team of Provider Support Officers who together will help deliver the borough's vision in Social Care.


The key responsibilities of this role include:



  • Monitoring and scrutinising Electric Call Monitoring (ECM) usage from Homecare Providers

  • Management of IT Systems for Social Care including Controcc/IAS/Marketplace and the Care and Support Directory

  • Providing reporting/analysis to support the operational contract monitoring and placement data analysis to provide an improved overview of the provider market and increased financial control and support


Job Requirements



  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within Social Care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in managing IT systems for Social Care

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
