Service Users: Low to Medium risk individuals aged 16-21 plus children in care.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time) - Monday to Friday, either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
One weekend shift required every 4-5 weeks, with a day off during the week when a weekend shift is worked.

Main Duties:
As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to low to medium-risk individuals transitioning into independent living.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with aftercare leaving teams to support service users in their transition to independent living.
- Ensuring benefits claims are submitted and maintained, monitoring accounts, and taking appropriate action in case of arrears, following policy and procedure.
- Planning and delivering effective support and safety plans with service users, referring to specialist agencies as required.
- Recording, monitoring, reviewing, and updating service user contact and progressions/outcomes regularly in line with contractual requirements.
- Keyworking a caseload of 6 or more clients, providing individualized support tailored to their needs and circumstances.
- Reporting to the Senior Support Worker and directly to the Services Lead when necessary.
- Undertaking lone working as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users at all times.

Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance covering both adults and children.
- Previous experience in a housing support or similar role, preferably working with young adults.
- Knowledge of benefits systems and experience in managing accounts and arrears.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable individuals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
