Respiratory Specialist Nurse

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the Respiratory Team, Based across Cambridge

The team sits within a Respiratory Team with the role predominately to manage a caseload of patients with complex respiratory needs, using evidence based practice and patient centred goals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.

You will undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with access to advice and support from senior colleagues.

As part of this role you will participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) working and provide specialist advice, support and education to clinicians.

You will also work within our Pulmonary rehabilitation service, delivering and managing care whilst working towards accreditation standards.

You will plan, implement and evaluate individualised specialist patient care programmes based on evidence base practice and the application of clinical reasoning skills and promote and support self management and engage with patient support groups.

You will be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work and organise the caseload efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time Undertake assessment and review of patients on oxygen in the community and proficiently undertake blood gas monitoring as per guidelines (when service developed)

The hours for this role are Full Time with shifts being Monday to Friday

The hourly rate for this role is: £26 Per Hour
