Business Support Coordinator

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Coordinator to work in our busy, vibrant Head Office, based in Preston city centre and close to all local amenities.

SCS are a privately owned Recruitment Agency formed in 2005 which specialises in eight different sectors, responsible for providing temporary and permanent staff to various organisations Nationwide.

The role of a Business Support Coordinator involves:
The primary responsibilities of the role are to support the business in the coordination of facilities management, health & safety, Arthur House premises, quality assurance, data protection and a wide range of general ad-hoc duties, including the support where required of the senior management team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
, Project Management of any building work to Arthur House.
, Ordering and keeping track of all equipment including IT within Arthur House.
, Organising staff events on a Quarterly and Annual basis
, Maintaining and managing the Investors in people accreditation.
, Act as point of contact for IT Support.
, Manage and ensure interactive screens are up to date.
, Act as point of contact for our external Health and Safety Company.
, Making sure the company complies with the ISO accreditation's
, Responsible for our e-Procurement systems including administration and overall management of functions relating to ensuring they are operated in a timely manner by consultants
, Security of Arthur House and management of Security.

What we are looking for?
, Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential
, Experience in managing suppliers and arranging for works to be done.

Including obtaining quotations and obtaining best value for a high quality outcome
, Ideally you will have knowledge and understanding of ISO Accreditation's, Health and Safety policies and procedures and Project Management
, Experience using MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
, Degree or HND in either Business Administration/Management or equivalent would be desirable but is not essential
