Locality Manager

A brand new position has just become available for a Locality Manager to manage a number of Learning Disability Residential Homes and Supported Living Services across South London.

Temporary Pay Rate: £22.23ph ltd
Salary per annum: £35,000pa circa

Hours and length of contract:
o Initial 4 weeks+ Temporary to Permanent
, 38 hours per week: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
, Overseeing the occasional weekend and bank holiday shift: 07:00-14:00/14:00-22:00
, The service operates 24/7
, The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP.

Daily Duties:
The client is a nationwide charity who have been providing care and support to older adults and those with mental health or learning disabilities for over 25 years.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the business, including
administration and coordination teams, along with business development of key customer relationships.

The service are located in one area of Croydon, one area of Sutton and three locations in Bromley and flexible support service in Newham.

As the Registered Manager with CQC you will be responsible for the services within a defined area.

, You will be responsible for ensuring that services are delivered to a high quality.

, You will maximise the performance of staff within the region, ensuring that all staff understand their roles and responsibilities and are fully supported.

, You will build relationships that enable growth and development within the region.

, Manage the performance of all services within a defined geographical area.

coaching, mentoring, motivating and supporting the staff to deliver the support commissioned.

, Ensure all the services provide a safe, clean and happy environment for the people supported.

, Monitor and manage all local safeguarding issues as part of the Operations Management team and promote best practice best practice in the protection vulnerable adults.

, Manage the services within corporate strategies including the implementation of management information system, rostering and audit requirements
, Work in partnership with all stakeholders
, Ensure that all services are delivered to the highest possible level of quality and performance including all regulatory requirements and contractual requirements.

, Ensure all services have a plan for CQC ‘outstanding' rating.
, Ensure that all staff receive regular supervision and an annual appraisal.

, Identify training and development needs of staff within the services and ensure that these are met.

Person specification:
To be considered you MUST have an NVQ Level 5 Management or similar.
, Desirable: QCF Assessors qualification
, Desirable: Accredited Training qualification
