The Scottish Covid 19 Inquiry is a well-known Scottish Government public inquiry who are on the look out for a new Paralegal to help provide support to the legal team section on Health and Social Care Law.

The Paralegal - Covid19 Inquiry will be responsible for providing legal support to the Portfolio 3 Health & Social Care Scottish COVID 19 - Inquiry Team.
The successful candidate will have a Scottish qualified LLB, and experience within an Inquiry before if desirable if that be private or public background.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support to the Portfolio 3 Health & Social Care Scottish COVID 19 - Inquiry Team
Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
Conduct legal research and analysis
Attend meetings and take minutes
Assist in the management of case files and documents
Requirements
Scottish qualified LLB
Experience within an Inquiry before if desirable
Previously worked with a Legal background- private or public
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours and Contract
This is a full-time position with 37 hours per week.
The contract is for 12 months with the possibility of extension but not guaranteed.
