Rough Sleeper Navigator Newton Abbott, Teignbridge 3 Month Contract 37 Hours (9-5) A local authority in Devon are recruiting for a Rough Sleeper Navigator be required to support their outreach team in conducting weekly outreach visits to those who have been reported as rough sleeping across the Teignbridge area, providing support, advice and referral services.The Role The focus of this Rough Sleeper Navigator role is to play a crucial role in the resettlement of rough sleepers, providing a comprehensive service to a caseload of clients who are currently sleeping rough or who have a recent history of rough sleeping in Teignbridge.
Building trust and providing person centred advocacy and support which enables clients to navigate pathways and progress towards a life away from the streets.
This will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct assertive street outreach during unconventional hours to engage and support individuals experiencing homelessness.
Perform strength-based assessments and create tailored support plans for clients to achieve sustainable life away from the streets.

The Candidate To be considered for this Rough Sleeper Navigator role you will require previous experience of working with homeless people and an understanding of the needs of rough sleepers and the effects of trauma on individuals with complex lives, as well as undertaking client assessments and support plans. Develop and manage publishing software tools required by the business
Main Responsibilities:
Meeting the requirements of applicable ATA specifications
Authoring and publishing documentation to high standards that serve the customer's needs to service and maintain the companies range of products
Work with design data and guidance materials to produce quality and compliant documentation
Take responsibility of progress of technical publications documentations against project plan(s) to ensure documentations are available when expected and required by the customer
To ensure existing CMM's are maintained, revision controlled and communicated with customers in a timely manner.
Build strong relationships both internally and externally with all relevant parties including but not limited to engineering, production, quality assurance, customers, suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, external (A)DOA organisations
Understand the product limitations based on airworthiness, certification basis and/or design, and ensure the documentations generated are a true representation of these limitations
Key Experience Requirements:
Ideally educated to a minimum HNC / HND level in a technical / engineering discipline
Previous experience working as a Technical Publications Engineer, ideally within an Aerospace / Aviation environment
Previous experience of authoring product publication with both Mechanical & Electrical Components
Good knowledge of publishing software and tools
Previous experience of Commercial Aviation and International Standards / Approvals and Certifications is highly desirable
