Managing excellent communication with driving staff operations staff who are based at a different locationAssisting and supervising shipments in and out of the WarehouseConducting a daily stocktake of shipments in the WarehouseCollating and distributing a daily Trailer location reportParticipating in the weekend rota shared with the Transport Manager and Warehouse ManagerAssisting with the preparation of drivers’ timesheets and expenses.Assisting with the preparation of Tachograph reports for Drivers to complete.Daily interaction with on-site Workshop to ensure that Inspections and Repairs are completed and defects efficiently dealt withVehicle inspections, reviewing damage / defect reportsAssisting with the preparation of “offload” sheets for Warehouse staff and Drivers Worksheet.Deputising for the Transport Manager and Warehouse / Site Manager as and when required

Our client is an established and leading provider of Technical, Safety and Risk Management Services into a number of highly regulated industry sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, Industry, Aviation and Rail.
Due to continued growth they are currently looking to recruit a number of Senior System Engineers with a specialist background in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Systems & Operations, Shop/Submarine Systems and / or Naval Architecture.
Ideally the successful candidates will have gained previous experience in the HM Forces or a Defence-related sector and be accomplished in managing projects, systems and people delivering critical outputs to UK Defence.
You may have, or be working towards a professional qualification in Engineering, Programme or Project Management; Obsolescence and Through-Life Capability Management and / or Quality Management & Auditing.
It is ESSENTIAL you are a UK National, either currently holding SC Clearance or the ability to obtain this.

Key Requirements / Experience:
Qualified to Degree level in a relevant STEM discipline and ideally hold Incorporated status with a professional Institution

Demonstrable domain knowledge of Propulsion / Generation or Auxiliary Systems, Hull Design, Naval Architecture and / or Integrated Platform Management Systems in the Submarine or Surface Ship Domains
Demonstrable Systems Engineering competence in the development/ integration and support of new capability into existing systems
Experience of developing and managing Operating Documentation / Training Materials / Standards and Qualifications
Experience in Platform / Systems and Equipment Maintenance, Support and Through Life Capability Management
Experience in developing and managing User and System Requirements within a recognised framework, such as PRINCE2, P3M or Agile
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to simplify complex ideas
