We have a role for a Technician to provide support on complex train systems

Starting Salary £45k rising to c£52k after training

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your role will be to undertake and supervise mechanical & electrical maintenance, incorporating detailed fault finding and repair of electrical systems currently in situ

Working 4 on 4 off on both Days and Nights this position would give you a great opportunity to apply your avionics experience to modern trains in the rolling stock sector

The role will give you the opportunity to

Ensure maintenance completed is carried out in line with vehicle maintenance instructions
Carry out fault finding and resolve any systems level issues that may arise
Look to update and optimise maintenance procedures

Monitor reliability

Download and analyse performance data

Run diagnostics software to analyse faults

If you're Qualified to NVQ Level 3 have post qualification hands on experience and a strong knowledge of both electrical electronics practical and theory
