A brand new position has just become available for a CQC Registered Manager to join a private Mental Health residential service in Batley, West Yorkshire.

Temporary Pay Rate: £21ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:


  • Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00

  • Initial 3 month contract length (likelihood of extension)

  • The service operates 24/7

  • The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP.

Daily Duties:

The service consists of 3 bungalows and a total of 9 beds for adults over 18 years of age requiring a structured rehabilitation programme to support them with the mental health issues they are experiencing.

The aim of the service is to prevent hospital readmission and help the service users live as independently as possible.

As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of the service within the policies, procedures and quality standards of the organisation and the CQC.

Responsibilities include:

  • To support the Locality Manager, prepare and delivery business plans and budgets

  • To be responsible for all risk management within a given location from a business perspective

  • To monitor compliance with MI & reporting systems and interpret management information to drive performance, investigating and dealing with all exceptions and ensuring quality assurance.

  • To directly line manage team leaders and/or clinical staff and Recovery Workers within the location to ensure the highest levels of performance and standards of work are achieved

  • Ensure that staff practice in a safe, competent, and person centred manner

  • To ensure that location training and development meets service needs

  • To contribute to organisational development and management projects as appropriate.

Person specification:

Desirable: Relevant health or social care qualification (such as RMN/DipSW, degree or NVQ Level 4/5) Relevant leadership and management qualification (equivalent to NVQ Level 4 or above) AND MUST be approved by CQC as Registered manager.

Person specification:

The applicant must be DBS cleared for the position advertised and have previous experience in the field.

Must be fully covid19 vaccinated.
