Team Leader

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting a Healthcare Team Leader for a community support team in Penrith Cumbria.



Contract: Permanent


Hours: 35 hours


Salary: £12.20per hour



This position is a front line management position and you will support both the service user and their support team with their care package.



Daily duties will include offering on-site management through an “on and off” shift pattern providing quality assurance and full rota management ensuring safe working practices.



The aim of the service is to support service users to stay in their own home as comfortably and safely as possible to avoid hospital admission.



The applicant will assist in the development of Support Plans and deliver high quality care and support to meet peoples needs and enable them to achieve their goals and live independently.



Requirements:



It is essential the applicant must hold a full UK driving license with a car available for work purposes.
The applicant must have previous experience as a Team Leader / Senior Support Worker within Recovery, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Outreach or Forensic Work.


The applicant must hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 or willingness to complete this qualification.


The applicant must have experience with Medication Administration, Enteral Feeding and Stoma Site management.


The applicant must also have experience of NEWS (National Early Warning System) and the confidence and knowledge to determine the degree of illness of a patient to prompt critical care intervention.
