Support Worker

Our client is currently recruiting for dedicated and flexible care staff to join their established teams in and around Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire.

They  are a unique organisation that provides specialist complex care services to clients living in their own homes, with neurological conditions that may include acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, or progressive diseases such as multiple sclerosis and motor neuron disease.

We also support clients with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Locations: Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland & Northamptonshire

Hours: Full or part time roles available.

Day, Waking Night and Sleep Over shifts available.

All staff are required to commit to alternate weekend working

Pay: £10.00 to £11.50 per hour.

Each client is different and will have their own individual care needs, these could include: complex clinical care interventions/tasks, positive behavioural support.

They promote personal independence, autonomy, and choice for all our clients in every aspect of their support.

Comprehensive client specific training will be provided.

Main tasks and responsibilities could include:

  • Medication administration
  • Support with all aspects of personal care, including showering/toileting
  • Support to make and attend appointments
  • Encourage and enable clients to attend leisure pursuits in line with their personal interests
  • Supporting clients to build and maintain relationships with family and peers
