Band 7 Project Manager





I'm currently recruiting for a project manager in the Cambridge area for a band 7 project manager.

This will be to support a corporate, improvement and programme delivery team.


Rate of Pay: £20.54 to 23.50 PAYE Per hour (Based on Previous expereince)
Length of Contract: 12 Month FTC
Start date ASAP
5 days per week (37.5 Hours)


Some remote working will be accommodate

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team to support our Community Mental Health Transformation Project which aims to improve access to community mental health services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.


If you have project management experience and would like to work in a large NHS community Trust, this could be your new post?


The role will be based within the Improvement and Programme Delivery Team supporting CPFT's Adult Specialist Mental Health Services, work with a wide range of health and care partners and work closely with the All Age Mental Health Programme Manager.


Main duties of the role include:








  • Take into account the impact of any change the projects will have internally and/or on the wider system and ensure

  • Encourage collaborative working and service improvements overcoming resistance to To persuade project boards and staff of the importance and negotiate delivery schedules.

  • Ensure governance arrangements to support large-scale change and improvement projects; project plans, including milestones, delivery dates, KPIs, risk assessments and quality impact assessments

  • Take responsibility for performance reporting, project management and/or organisational development in the delivery of service transformation, change methodologies, and to understand interdependencies with other initiatives

  • Be responsible for a high standard of work supporting the delivery of projects on time, to quality standards and in a cost-effective

  • Pro-actively manage stakeholders, responding to and resolving differences between them when this arises, through facilitation or other appropriate Including in the senior capacity offering a route for escalation and resolution with other programmes when necessary

  • Ensure risks and issues are identified, reported effectively and counter measures are in Where necessary ensure the appropriate escalation and corrective action to ensure these are resolved.

  • Co-ordinate hard data and soft intelligence ensuring it is visible and utilised by the workstream
