Sales Executive

This contractor payroll company currently have an incredible opportunity for its first dedicated Sales Executive to join and progress.

This is a UK contractor umbrella company based in Preston City Centre, close to all local amenities and transport links.

It was established in April 2019 as a Contractor Payroll service to supply agency workers within the Recruitment Industry with an outstanding service throughout the length of their career.

As the Sales Executive, you will have a significant opportunity of being able to build from a strong existing base of contractors, grow the business and build a sales team to support you with the substantial prospect of career progression over many years.

What does the role involve?

  • Increasing the market share of contractor base, ensuring successful growth of its services through successful business development

  • Operating to professional standards

  • Develop annual marketing and sales plans

  • Operate as the first point of contact for all customers

  • Shared office space with the main client - a key opportunity to utilise relationships and enhance the service

  • Work closely with the Payroll team, providing cover when necessary

  • Change, set and review policy and procedure as they grow

What we can offer you:

  • Uncapped commission - earnings from day one on existing contractor base plus new customer commission (estimated year 1 £33,000 - 36,000 OTE)

  • Basic salary of £28,000

What kind of applicants are we looking for?

  • Umbrella/Contractor Payroll experience is required

  • Autonomous and self-sufficient to drive success

  • 12 months+ demonstrable experience in a B2B, B2C, C2B, C2C high activity sales or customer service environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Knowledge of sales principles and sales process methods

  • Ability to influence and reach decision makers
