Community Support Worker


SCS are recruiting for a Community Support Worker in the Reigate area of Surrey to work within a full time position for a private learning disabilities support organisation.


SCS offer a £250 candidate referral bonus once successfully placed if you may know anyone who may be interested!


Shifts - Day shifts only - 9am-5pm
Hours - Full-time, temporary to permanent agency contract.

Rota based hours.


Pay - £11 - £11.50 ph Ltd - depending on experience
Contract - Agency to permanent employment
Location - Reigate, Surrey


Role:
To support clients with learning disabilities in their own homes within 1.5 to 2 hour visits after moving on from the supported living services.

The clients are highly competent and independent, no challenging behaviour so you will be simply supporting with domestic and social activities.

Each visit with each client is a quality visit making sure a appropriate amount of time is allocated to each client throughout the day with a maximum of 3 to 4 visits each working day.


This is a temporary to permanent contract meaning as an agency will support you in successfully applying for the role and initially starting as agency to get active within the role faster.


Candidate Requirements:



  • Essential to be a driver

  • Preferable to have NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate

  • Preferable to have a valid DBS

  • Preferable to have previous experience in a similar setting

  • Flexible towards availability
