Job Title: Registered Manager

Reports to: Responsible Individual

Job Purpose

As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service ensuring Forte Care Ltd's continued compliance with relevant legislation.

Working in partnership with colleagues in the senior management team you will ensure the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.

  • Experience within Children's Residential Services with the ability to implement leadership in a residential setting.

  • A level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management, equivalent or the commitment to obtain this within an agreed timescale is essential.

  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Acts as applicable to Children's homes.

  • Experience of Ofsted inspections and the regulatory regime.

  • Children/Young Person assessment skills including risk assessment.

  • Ability and experience of lead service development.

  • Full UK driving licence is required.

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people

  • A genuine passion to improve outcomes for children
