Project Manager

A local authority based in Chichester are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

This is a temporary vacancy which is ongoing.

The main purpose of the role is to interpret and manipulate very varied and complex project information in relation to services / programmes required by the client.

Work within the Asset Management and Estates team that provides a Corporate Landlord function on behalf of the County Council across the full life cycle of property activities.

The work covers the management of the Council's operational property assets and commercial investments.

The County Council has recently undertaken a review of our Early Help Services, and as a result there will be changes to our Early Help Property Estate with a programme or estate rationalisation, re-locations and re-purposing.

Your role will be to project manage the delivery of the Early Help Asset Plan, working with internal services and external stakeholders to de-commission and re-commission premises, to ensure the plan is delivered in a timely way, mitigating the impact on those affected by the changes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Degree, or equivalent qualification or experience in Project Management, demonstrating that level of applied knowledge in researching, analysing and evaluating arguments and information.

Project Management qualification (e.g.

PRINCE 2) or equivalent level of experience demonstrating comprehensive application of the above levels of knowledge in a relevant setting.
