Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of Lancashire County Council for COVID Caseworkers on a 6 month contract.


This position is remote working and so candidates should have good working wifi and also a suitable working environment at home.


Key features



  • To provide outbreak management guidance and support complex settings (schools, high risk work places, care sector etc)

  • To also provide support with testing and vaccination coordinator and work with communications and engagement to facilitate these functions

  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure provision of effective, efficient and timely response and support to incidents and outbreaks

  • Undertake virtual interviews with COVID-19 positive cases, providing initial public health risk assessments

  • Escalate and refer any challenging or complex cases, incidents or outbreaks to the relevant single point of access


Candidate Requirements



  • Working with the public in a customer facing role

  • Dealing with confidential and sensitive data

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and scripts

  • Working in a contact tracing role previously is desirable

  • Interviewing members of the public and information gathering is desirable
