Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager
To take ownership of compliance and regulatory matters within an expanding e-liquids supplier.

My client is an international vape and e-liquid supplier working with over 100 countries across the globe.

They are currently looking for a permanent Compliance manager to take ownership of regulatory matters, NPD issues internally and externally with our external partners to ensure that compliance is maintained within each region.

Managing and resolving quality issues, registering ingredients and ensuring labelling, claims are compliant to each graphical region and it is essential that regulatory requirements are within each country according to its regulatory requirements and standards.

MSDS and Compliance
, Ensure Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) documents are created and maintained for all products.
, Perform chemical checks on all component chemicals used within formulations to ensure compliance measures are adhered to
, Prepare and process Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) submissions across European territories
, Prepare and process product registrations for other countries that the business sells its products
, Ensure that all data and documents are maintained in an organised manor and shared with relevant members throughout the business
, Assist the Customer Services department in the resolution of customer queries that relate to compliance issues or compliance related matters

, Proof new artwork to ensure that it is full compliant
, Manage Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) requirements for products and assist the design team in ensuring that all products have the relevant CLP in place
, Conduct general research, as guided by the business, and publish this in regular updates to ensure the business remains up to date on regulatory matters
, Partake in, and contribute to, projects relating to compliance and regulations in line with business objectives
, Complete other ad-hoc compliance or regulatory tasks as and when required by the business

The successful applicant:
, You have proven experience and excellent knowledge in a Beauty, Chemical or Manufacturing compliance and regulatory affairs role (Essential)
, You have experience working in a laboratory environment (Desirable)
, You are able to demonstrate as an author MSDS and fully understand classifications.

, You have a good understanding of CLP regulations.

, You have a relevant degree in Chemistry, toxicology or similar (Desirable)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
Office based in Preston
