Admin GP

Calling all admins in York/East riding.

A GP practise in York are looking to take onadministrator staff at a busy GP'S.

37.5 Hours a Week
Weeks- 12 Weeks to ongoing
Pay rate- £9.23-10.00 based on experience.

  • To maintain the staff in/out board and staff contact sheets.

  • To receive and sign, for the delivery of goods.

  • Maintain any room booking systems which are in place and ensure any equipment / refreshments are available for meetings if required.

  • To provide clerical and typing support, including the production of letters and reports

  • To photocopy documents, as and when required.

  • To maintain a filing system, as per departmental guidelines.

  • To undertake all IT requirements making full use of the Microsoft Office package.

  • To deal with telephone enquiries, taking and relaying any messages.

  • To deal with incoming and outgoing post.

  • To provide cross-cover arrangements with the other administrative staff in the department.

  • To work under the supervision of the secretary / line manager and take instruction as necessary.

  • To comply with the safety instructions and policies of Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust where appropriate.

  • To use equipment and facilities provided in a proper and safe manner.

  • To refrain from the wilful misuse or interference with anything provided in the interest of Health & Safety and any action, which may endanger yourself or others.

  • To report as soon as possible all hazards and defects to the line manager.

  • To report all accidents and untoward occurrences to the line manager as soon as possible and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
