About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Warden Team.

Here in Crawley, we see the safety and well-being of our residents, workers and visitors as paramount.

You'll also need to have the confidence to lead, mediate and negotiate, be assertive and be part of a team which has earned the RSPCA Gold Footprint Award for its outstanding work in dealing with stray dogs.

Patrolling public areas, you'll encourage people to talk to each other, and respond to incidents of antisocial behaviour and community concerns, report crime and intelligence to the police.

Issue warnings and fixed penalty notices and take part in community events.

You will be required to deal with the demanding and emotional role of providing a stray dog service.

Full training and support will be given.
