Service Care Solutions on the search for a Mental Health Professional to work in a GP surgery based in Woking, Surrey and across the community.


Service Care Solutions are on the search for a Mental Health Professional to work for our client running community based mental health services within GP Surgeries based in Woking, Surrey and across the community.

You will be working for a specialist non-profitable organsiation running 16 different types of mental health support teams across Surrey.

This role is based within their Primary Care support network where you will be working in a local GP surgery acting as first point of contact for GP's in seeking support for managing their mental health patients.


Hours - Full time, 5 days per week, Monday - Friday.


Contract - 3 - 6 months with option to extend - ongoing agency position


Shifts - 9am - 5pm


Pay - £16 - £20ph Ltd - Dependent on Experience



Daily Duties Include



  • Be the first port of call for GPs in seeking support for managing their
    patients with mental health presentations




  • Provide and promote early triage, assessment and formulation of need
    and care plans, to inform treatment and/or onward bridging to
    community resources




  • Support and improve access to evidence based interventions for people
    with serious mental illness




  • Helping people to focus on achievable goals and access local community
    resources




  • Provide brief therapeutic interventions




  • Support completion and delivery of actions identified in physical health
    checks for people with serious mental illness



Candidate Requirements



  • Preferable to hold the equivalent of a Degree in an relatable and equivalent subject field.

  • Essential to be a holder of at least a level 3 qualification relatable and equivalent subject field.

  • Essential to be a driver with a valid driving license

  • Preferable to have a valid DBS

  • Essential to have at least 2 years professional experience in the field.

  • Experience within a mental health/crisis setting presenting excellent skills in de escalation and sound knowledge or primary and secondary care networks.
