Targeted Family Support- Team Leader

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Targeted Family Support- Team Leader to work with the Children's Families and Communities unit in Worcester.

You will assist the Group Manager to process, lead, develop and monitor the Targeted Family Support service ensuring the vision and purpose is developed and disseminated to ensure best outcomes for families.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Make timely decisions using the Levels of Need guidance ensuring safeguarding concerns are escalated.

  • Promote and model proper relationships with families and carers so they have confidence in the services they receive.

  • Take responsibility for the management and supervision of Targeted Family Support Workers ' workload including the allocation of caseload and to ensure families receive good quality service.

    To ensure Early Help Assessments and Plans are child and outcome focused.

  • To implement appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems, to demonstrate the impact of the Stronger Families Support Service on families.


  • Experience in a relevant area.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Social Work or relevant (desirable).

  • Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE A to C) in maths and English or demonstrable equivalent.

  • To have attended relevant courses and training in health and social care.

Contract Details:

Salary - £18.53 Hourly

Hours - Monday- Friday, 9am- 5pm

Location - Worcester, Worcestershire

Role - Targeted Family Support- Team Leader

Currently Due to COV19 there will be home base working and Virtual Contact with clients.
