Crisis Recovery Worker

Service Care solutions are looking for Crisis Recovery Workers for a mental health safe haven based in Torquay, Devon.


A private mental health organisation with strong links to the NHS are recruiting for Crisis Recovery Workers for their mental health safe haven.


If you have experience and passion in delivering mental health crisis support to people in distress - wanting high quality training and future career progression then this role will be for you!


Temporary/Permanent Contracts: Part time, flexible up to 30 hours per week.


Pay Rates: £20,017 Pro Rata - 6pm - 12 am midnight


Temporary Rates - £11ph Ltd , usually for 4-6 week until permanent contract offered.


Location - Torquay Devon.



Role:


To work for a nationwide private mental health recovery organisation in delivery support to patients with mental health issues.

You will be working within a team of experienced crisis recovery workers in order to achieve the targets of the Haven, a mental health drop in service, delivering the highest standard of care.

Methods and strategies are be used to provide solutions to maximise the patient's state of mental health, ultimately deescalating those who are in mental distress.

In being reactive and proactive in your approach, you will work with people needing immediate support and de-escalation then reporting and working in line with relevant health authorities.


Candidate:



  • NVQ Lvl 3 in Health & Social Care is an essential requirement.


  • Experience in de-escalation and crisis recovery.


  • Experience of working in a social care setting, or prior mental health support experience.


  • Great interpersonal, communication and listening skills.

  • Understanding principles of Care and Mental Health Act.


  • Knowledge of data management systems needed to interpret data and write reports for service management.
