Job Title: Administrator

Locations: Chelmsford CM2

Contract Type: temp contract

Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 37 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

To provide administrative support to the wider Housing team to ensure the majority of properties are let within the Company's target, meeting the requirements of the Allocations and Lettings Policy; To provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.


Tenancy and empty property administration;
Booking appointments for staff to attend inspections etc;
Providing reports as required from a variety of systems;
Maintaining records relating to tenancies and empty properties using all necessary systems;
Provision of advice for tenants terminating tenancies;
Assist in managing all digital working e.g.

loading forms for mobile working, managing electronic filing;
Administration of bills - including utility and council tax bills;
Assist in administration of fobs and keys;
Administrative support for lettings;
Monitoring Void properties;

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of one year's experience within a Housing administration environment;
Experience of dealing with members of the public and a proven commitment to customer care;
Excellent IT skills with experience in the use of all Microsoft office packages;
System orientated and process driven;
