Electrical Contracts Manager

A local authority based in Southampton are looking for a Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team.

This is a temporary vacancy which is ongoing.

The main purpose of the role is to support the development and delivery of a high quality electrical service (responsive, planned, capital and commercial) strategy that enable our client to meet its business objectives and meet the needs of all internal users and other stakeholders ensuring that all policies, standards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and statutory requirements are met.

The role involves assisting in the management of the Electrical section including staff, contractors, suppliers and back office administrative activities, within policies and procedures, to meet the aims and objectives of the business/service.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Previous commercial experience, dealing with tenders, estimating works and managing teams of people - and preferably with previous NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor [QS] experience.
