Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Locations: Chelmsford, CM2
Contract Type: Temporary contract for 6 months
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP

My client is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to Work with the Supply Chain team to co-ordinate the transition of materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse, including stock delivery, transfers, returns and issue.



Responsibilities:
, Be the main point of contact with suppliers, Service Centre, DLO Trades teams and Trades Team Supervisors, answering queries and maintaining presence on the Zeacom telephony system;
, Process and record purchase order requests on CHP systems and dispatch orders to suppliers to enable ‘just in time' delivery of materials and equipment;
, Liaise with DLO Trades teams, Trades Team Supervisors and Service Centre to arrange and record stock counts, identifying items surplus to requirements which will inform future purchasing decisions;
, Monitor planned work appointments in conjuction with the Service Centre and Trades Team Supervisors and take ownership of any actions to ensure requested materials are complete, correct and available for the appropriate appointment
, Co-ordinate the activity of the Supply Chain Drivers/Labourers in delivering materials and clearing waste from site with the use of Outlook and DRS scheduling system;
, Organise fleet servicing, maintenance and repairs to minimise vehicle downtime;
, Co-ordinate fleet allocation, recording and reporting vehicle condition and van stock levels/equipment;
, Liaise with Trades Team Supervisors and DLO Trades teams to co-ordinate the purchase, issue and recording of uniform, PPE, plant, tools and equipment for the DLO;
, Prepare and process invoices, both paper and electronically, within deadlines and in accordance with CHP procedures and standing orders, ensuring coding information is correct;
, Ensure invoices match spend commitment by liaising with staff and suppliers.

Essential Criteria:
, Previous experience in a supply chain role
, Experience of office procedures and practices;
, Experience of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook); to an advanced level;
, Experience of analysing and inputting data onto stores computer system(s);
, Ability to interpret, analyse and manage prices and purchasing information;
