Job Title: Business Change Manager
Work and Interview Location: Wembley, HA9
Contract Type: 12 Months FTC
Weekly Hours: 35 Hours per week

Salary: £51,590

Business Change Manager role is to work with the programme, projects and key business stakeholders, to identify how the various changes being implemented impact the business overall, and ensure the organisation is sufficiently engaged, prepared and supported to realise sustainable business benefits from the programme/ projects.

The role has the overall responsibility leading on end to end organisational change activities within the Business Transformation Programme.

The BCM role will design, develop, and implement change management best practice strategies and plans, including key documentation and activities

Key responsibilities

, Through the application of business change management practices, work with Programme Managers, project managers and key stakeholders across the organisation to lead the change management workstream, ensuring there is a clear and compelling vision for change initiatives with clearly defined and baselined benefits.


, Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify how the changes being implemented impact the organisation and its people.


, Lead on defining, planning, and managing all relevant change management activities in collaboration with key stakeholders and project members, to ensure impacted business areas are prepared, equipped and ready to embed their new ways of working.


, Lead and drive the adoption of new processes, behaviours, and technologies, in partnership with business stakeholders at all levels.


, Oversee stakeholder engagement and buy-in to ensure new ways of working and sustainable business benefits realisation are embedded successfully.


, Strategically oversee and guide the development of all communication and training, working closely with the communications and learning and development teams.


, Facilitate and champion stakeholder mapping and the development of engagement plans during project initiation and planning.


, Work with the Senior Management Team and other managers across the business, in partnership with the L&OD team, to upskill change leadership capability.


, Challenge provoke and coach business leaders on the ways to successfully embed change and address resulting process/ system/ people issues.
Essential Criteria

, Extensive experience of managing, delivering, and embedding change in a cross-functional, fast paced environment
, Hands-on experience of implementing deliverables and solutions across a range of large projects and programmes
, Effective management of the end-to-end communication process
, Experience developing and using insights to create relevant, timely and engaging communications across many channels
, Extensive experience of working with senior stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver change management and solutions
, Good knowledge of programme, project, change management and performance management techniques
, Working knowledge of enabling technology and innovative and creative problem-solving techniques
, Up-to-date knowledge of new technology, service improvement and directorate business operations
