Deputy Ward Manager - Lotus Ward/Eating Disorders Unit

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager - Lotus Ward/Acute to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Stapleton, Bristol area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers


This is one of UK's leading hospitals for the treatment of individuals, families and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions


As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:

·         Reporting to the Ward Manager, you will be involved in the assistance of managing the ward, staff rotas and engagement

·         Ensuring  the highest standards are maintained in personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of eating disorders, affecting their mental and physical health

·         You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people

·         It is also important that you are able to work unsupervised with a degree of autonomy and be able to motivate and guide your team, in a fast paced environment


The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         Experience of working with Eating Disorders

·         High levels of customer service

·         A strong sense of responsibility & ownership

·         Willingness to learn

·         Effective communication skills

·         Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude


The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £37,000 per annum + enhancements.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
