This is one of UK's leading hospitals for the treatment of individuals, families and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions


As the Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:

·         Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will be involved in the overall management of the ward

·         Overseeing staff rotas and engagement

·         Ensuring  the highest standards are maintained in personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of eating disorders, affecting their mental and physical health

·         You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people

·         It is also important that you are able to work unsupervised with a high degree of autonomy and be able to motivate and guide your team, in a fast paced environment


The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         A qualification or relevant experience in healthcare management to ward level

·         Experience of working with Eating Disorders

·         High levels of customer service

·         A strong sense of responsibility & ownership

·         Willingness to learn

·         Effective communication skills

·         Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude


The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £42,200 per annum DOE.

This exciting is a Fixed Term role to cover Maternity Leave for 37.5 hours a week.
