Strategic Meetings Coordinator

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Strategic Meetings Coordinator for a local Police force in Middlemoor in Exeter.

This is a full time contracted role for an initial 6 months contract with the high likelihood of being extended.

Purpose of the Strategic Meetings Coordinator role :
To provide an executive level service provision in support of the Force Strategic Meetings structure on behalf of the Chief Constable for Devon and Cornwall plus responsibility for delivering some Joint Strategic Meetings in order that Force meets its statutory obligations.



Responsibilities of the Strategic Meetings Coordinator will include but will not be limited to -
,To provide at an executive level, co-ordination of the annual Strategic Meetings Structure;
,Management of the delivery of both Force Strategic and Alliance Meetings;
,Attend and record strategic, business and operational level meetings containing sensitive, confidential and sometimes distressing material;
,Management of the corporate audit trail of decision, rationale and information contained within organisational records;
,Hold responsibility for the internal and external publication of strategic minutes in line with the statutory obligation under the Freedom of Information Act Publication Scheme (D&C Site);
,Creation of Executive level minutes and composition of briefing papers.

To be considered for this role you MUST have -
,Excellent communication skills with experience of working with people at all levels of the organisation including senior managers.
,Experience of preparing agendas and taking committee level minutes with the ability to summarise complex and detailed information in a concise manner.
,Proven organisational skills with experience of planning and prioritising a high volume workload.
,Proven ability to manage own time effectively with minimal supervision in order to meet competing deadlines.
,An understanding and experience of working to stringent meeting/decision making governance processes

As this is a role with the Police, the successful candidate will be subject to Police Vetting, therefore candidates must have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
