We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to join our team in Scotland to complete maintenance tasks and minor repairs to electrical systems throughout our estate in Scotland (inclusive of 8 schools)
Experience in both facilities management and installation is a requirement, a successful candidate must be able to work with and assist other members of the team as required.
Familiarity with electrical building services; such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, heating and ventilation controls is preferred.
The right candidate would have the ability to understand and work from schematic drawings have good customer service skills the ability to manage and prioritise own workload with a good working Environmental, quality and safety awareness

You will be responsible for;
,Be the day-to-day contact for site-based staff at customer premises.
,Check understanding of tasks status, any problems and opportunities for further work
,Ensure that other staff/contractors are operating in the correct manner.
,A good reactive response
,Provide the first point of response for reactive calls for premises (this could include tasks that are outside the engineer's skill set; however, they would act as point of reference and liaison for other resources to be used in the situation.
,On site resource, where the premises are of enough scale, the engineer may be based on the site, with requirements to attend other sites as determined by operational activities.
,The routine PPM tasks for a property to be undertaken within the engineer's competency and workload.
,Logbooks ensure that the site logbooks are up to date and have been correctly completed by other service providers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work a 37.5-hour full time position with overtime available if wanted.

,Driving License (company vehicle provided)
,The Edition Electrical Wiring regulations
,City and Guilds 2382
,City and Guilds 2391
,Experience (3 years +)
,Valid ECS or JIB Gold Card.
