Patient Navigator

Calling all Patient Navigators in Kent, Gillingham and surrounding areas.

Are you looking for a long term contract in the NHS.

Do you have previous NHS experience, and are hungry for work, in a hospital setting

Hours: 22.5 Hours a week.
Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Location: Medway Maritime Hospital

Complete temperature check on all patients and their supportive individual attending unit -Advise all patients/ supportive individuals to utilise hand sanitiser, ensure all have masks on and appropriately worn - Escalate any temperature out of normal range to senior team and advise patients/ supportive individual to return to their vehicle to await telephone contact with senior team
- Check PCR results are negative before allowing any patient/supportive individual into unit
- Direct supportive individual to scanning room -Ensure safe social distancing is maintained in waiting room, working closely with reception staff to ensure patients attend only at the time of their appointment - If attending within 20 minutes of appointment to advise
- To return at appointment time -Work closely with the reception team when there are delays in appointments to ensure patients/supportive individual are kept up to date.
