Trainer and Use Acceptance Testing Manager

Job Title: Trainer and Use Acceptance Testing Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Based: Sevenoaks, TN13

This role is to ensure that all end users, managers, support staff and administrators are able to carry out their duties confidently and competently in relation to new solutions and projects.

You will be accountable for all user acceptance testing (UAT) deliverables and co-ordination of resources to complete the UAT activities as well as Developing and adopting UAT frameworks and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and adopted as intended.

Role Responsibilities -

Training
, Understand and take account of the impact of changes on staff and residents within each individual project
, Work with assigned suppliers and complete training sessions and meetings to acquire knowledge of new solutions (is this in order to develop learning materials for users?)
, Identify user training needs and complete training needs analysis across the business
, Develop and agree training plans adhering to our branding standards to ensure users can support new solutions
, Design and produce of all required training materials
, Conduct end user training as identified and agreed in the plans.

Either one to one or in groups
, Be an advocate for new solutions and organisation changes to aid user adoption
, Work with the relevant business leads to ensure the training is fit for purpose
, Ensure the training of new starters and ongoing training refreshers is agreed and built into the continual training and onboarding processes
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
, Development of the UAT framework
, Develop the UAT plan as required, ensuring all assumptions, risks, issues, and dependencies are properly discussed and reported to the Project Manager, with escalation as necessary
, Work with the business leads to develop the UAT test scripts, building on known business scenario's, end to end processes and test data
, Clearly communicate with the business and ensure relevant resources are available
, Manage and deliver the UAT plan to the defined test results for each business process, evaluating the outcomes and prioritising resolution of issues
, Provide the Project Manager with weekly progress updates
, Undertake any other duties to ensure the outcomes of the role are achieved.

Essential Criteria -

, Experience of delivering a modern housing solution; Civica Cx desirable
, Flexible and non-judgmental when dealing with people
, Good stakeholder management
, Experience in delivering training at all levels up to senior leadership
, Experience of delivering UAT framework
, Housing Association or related industry experience
, Good understanding of housing operations
, Ability to assume leadership role, creative, patient, and empathetic
, Strong presentation skills
, Organised and proficient in using Microsoft tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint
, Experienced in providing software training to non-technical business users
, Excellent communication skills
, Good analytical skills for grouping of test issues for resolution
