Senior Social Worker
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Social Worker to work in an exceptional service based in the Roehampton, London area.
As the Senior Social Worker you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is one of the country’s leading mental health treatment centres.
They provide fast access to high quality treatment for lots of different conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders
As the Senior Social Worker your key responsibilities include:
· To manage safeguarding concerns within the hospital
· To attend various meetings within the hospital to offer input from a safeguarding perspective
· To offer safeguarding advice and support to staff within the hospital
· To complete direct work with both adult and child patients when safeguarding concerns have been raised
· To complete Social Circumstances reports when required
· To liaise directly with external agencies such as the police, local authorities and community mental health teams when safeguarding referrals are needed
An ideal Senior Social Worker must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:
· Good knowledge of safeguarding for both adults & children
· Good interpersonal skills
· Able to work with an empathetic approach whilst maintaining professional boundaries
· Experience working as a practitioner within a relevant setting where the role holder has gained first-hand experience working in safeguarding, implementing the processes and procedures required under current legislation
The successful Senior Social Worker will receive an excellent competitive salary.
This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
