AG Technical Support Level 3

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Technical support level 3 to work within a Police force in Warwickshire.

This is a 6 months contract which will possibly have the opportunity to be extended.

This is a full time role Monday - Friday.

The role will be immediately responsible for carrying out technical remediation activities to the IT estate following the completion of a third-party IT Health Check (ITHC) report.

It is also responsible for configuration and use of Nessus to Implement a Vulnerability Management process, including scanning and remediation and providing weekly vulnerability updates for management reporting and remediation action plans.

On-Premise technologies used include Microsoft, Unix, Cisco, Citrix, SCCM, AppSense, VMware, Oracle.



This role operates within an ITIL environment, supported by a medium sized team of varying technical levels and disciplines.

A broad range of technical knowledge across various IT disciplines is required and previous experience of working with ITHC reports and Vulnerability Management tools to perform remediation activities is essential.



Onsite working will be required from the start of the contract, however some remote working may be considered later into the contract.



Main Job Responsibility -

To work flexibly within the Technical Support Team or Solutions Delivery Team, contributing to an efficient and effective ICT Service, ensuring a quality end to end ICT Service to West Mercia Police.

To provide a high level of technical support (relevant to role level) across West Mercia Police, both to internal customers and to external customers.

To continually innovate in order to ensure the department is offering the best level of service in terms of services and equipment.

This includes working on the network, hardware and software in support of the delivery of all agreed ICT services.
