Learning & Development Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Learning & Development Manager  to work in an exceptional service based in the Rugby, Warwickshire area.

As the Learning & Development Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers


You will be essential to the continued success of our services through the development of our staff teams.  You will be a valued member of our Management Team, working closely with colleagues to ensure the effective selection and development of our staff through designing and delivering a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme to meet the expectations of the Care Quality Commission and to support our aim to be an Outstanding provider


As the Learning & Development Manager your key responsibilities include:

·         To support the company’s aim to achieve Outstanding Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings in all services through implementing a programme of learning and development to support staff throughout their career with the company

·         To plan, develop and deliver the learning and development programme in line with the company’s vision, business aims and objectives

·         To promote a caring and supportive environment for the people we support through high standards of professional practice achieved through learning and development opportunities for all staff


An ideal Learning & Development Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Substantial experience of conducting training needs assessments and developing and delivering successful health and social care training programmes to meet business needs

·         Experience of evaluating the impact of learning to ensure performance improvement

·         Experience of developing and delivering effective induction programmes for new staff

·         Knowledge of CQC standards and expectations and ability to transfer these into effective training interventions

·         Knowledge of the Certificate in Care and able to support staff to achieve this within set timeframes

·         Strong L&D background within health and social care


The successful Learning & Development Manager will receive an excellent salary from £25,000 up to £30,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 38 hours a week.
