Registered General Nurse

Our client is one of UK's leading healthcare providers and they are currently seeking for a motivated RGN to work in an exceptional care home based in the Croxteth, Liverpool area

This is a medium sized home in Liverpool which provides Palliative care, Parkinson's nursing, Dementia nursing and convalescence.

The home is  split across five buildings, care for short or long term, nursing and residential dementia care, nursing, respite, convalescence and palliative care

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life

·         Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation

·         Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders

·         Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively

An ideal Nurse must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Ability to deliver care, without direct supervision

·         Competent in Medication Management

·         Ability to follow the Nursing process-Assessment/Diagnosis/Planning/Implementation/Evaluation

·         Maintaining the Client's dignity and respect at all times

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour.

You will be required to work Night Shifts only.
