Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN or RMN to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Exeter area.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers


This nursing home provides a home where older people can be helped to live as normally as possible and where the emphasis is on quality and enjoyment of life


As a Nurse your key duties include:

·         Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents, and developing and updating person centred Care Plans for them

·         Dispensing and administering medication in accordance with prescriptions

·         Liaising with departmental heads to ensure residents maintenance, catering and housekeeping needs are accommodated

·         Organising and supervising the work of the Care Team including induction of new members of the team

·         Providing a comprehensive handover at shift change to ensure seamless care is provided


An ideal Nurse must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Previous experience of working with the elderly / dementia

·         Is conversant with the NMC Code

·         Has a competent computer user

·         A good communicator, written and verbally

·         Able to manage and motivate the care team


The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £18.00 per hour.
