Clinical Care Lead Nurse

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Care Lead Nurse to work for exceptional services based in around various locations throughout Birmingham and the surrounding area.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This service provides care and support services to service users with brain injuries, mental illnesses, neurological conditions and individuals with conditions that require end of life care

As the Clinical Care Lead Nurse your key responsibilities include:

·         Accountable for the care packages that require any form of Nursing care/requirements

·         Assisting with the initial set up of care packages that require Nursing care, with leadership from Senior Clinical lead and Registered care manager

·         Carry out assessments and then reviews alongside other professionals such as NHS GP, tissue viability

·         Care Planning – Comprehensive Risk Management and Updating Care plans

·         To complete and prepare Medication and MAR records to ensure compliance, on monthly basis

·         Regular visits to the packages having open communication with families/ professionals and assessing of the carers to confirm that they are complying with the plan of care and protocols in place

·         Control measures are followed and in place for each assessed risk and that full documentation is updated and reviewed on a regular basis and ensuring that all staff are trained and aware of protocol and documentation

·         Answer and deal with any clinical matters involved in care packages

·         Reviewing of all clinical requirements on nursing packages

The successful Clinical Care Lead Nurse will receive an excellent salary around £35,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week.
