Charge Nurse

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Paisley, Scotland area.

As the Charge Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This care home provides palliative care, Parkinson's nursing, Dementia nursing and convalescence to very high standards to their patients

As the Charge Nurse your key duties include:

·         Be responsible for leading a team of Nursing and Care staff to ensure excellent standards of care

·         Stand in upon absence of the Unit Manager

·         Plan rotas/recruit/train and mentor staff

·         Build strong relationships with local regulator/providers and Social Services

·         Comply to NMC guidelines with administration of medicine

An ideal Charge Nurse must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         You must have previous experience in a nursing management role

·         You must have a proven track record in delivering good care results

·         You must have a good understanding of CQC/CI and other regulatory bodies (DoLs/MCA)

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £39,312 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role for 42 hours a week working through Day Shifts only.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN or RMN with a valid NMC Pin
