Service Care Solutions are looking for a learning disabilities support worker to work for a private learning and physical disabilities residential service in Southampton, Hampshire.

You will be working as part of a comprehensive support team in a 12 bedded service equipped with facilities to help the service users build on their life skills and to live a more independent lifestyle.

This is a long term temporary agency position with view to extend.



Hours - Part-time / Full-time
Pay Rates - £11 ph - £12 ph
Location - Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire
Role:
You will be working with residents suffering from a range of challenging behaviours, autism, those who struggle with communication, physical disabilities and complex needs.

You will also be providing support with their physical health, promoting fitness and healthy eating.

Each service user will require varying degrees of assistance and training depending on their individual needs and you are responsible for safe delivery of high quality for professional care and services.

Candidate Requirements:
, Preferable to have previous experience within with learning and physical disability support role
, Preferable to have NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
, Flexible towards shifts
, Preferable to have a valid DBS
