Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD)

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional care home based in the Luton, Bedfordshire area.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of  UK's leading health care providers

This care home is designed to meet a wide range of needs such as catering for 24/7 residential care, elderly care, end of life care, respite care and nursing care, service users with a range of mental health and physical disabilities are afforded the best possible care

As a Nurse your key duties include:

·         Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life

·         Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical and social needs

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation

·         Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively

·         Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees

An ideal Nurse must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         People management experience

·         Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector

·         Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

·         Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary from £16.50 to £17.00 per hour.
