Registered General Nurse

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN Nurse to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Shipley, West Yorkshire area.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This special nursing home is a home for young adults with disabilities.

It cares for people who have a variety of specialist needs including amputees, people with brain injuries Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neuron Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Epilepsy and many other complex conditions

As a Nurse your key duties include:

·         Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care

·         Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company’s medication policy

·         Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals

·         Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

An ideal Nurse must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Provide both residential and nursing care to older people who have physical disabilities.

·         Able to show empathy and warmth

·         A bubbly and outgoing personality

·         Dementia experience

·         Able to write care plans

·         Assist in assessments

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour and the overtime rate is £20.50 per hour.

This exciting position is a Full Time position for 35 hours a week, working throughout Day Shifts.
