Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist

A amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Thatcham, Berkshire area.

As a Psychologist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

The combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats at the hospital provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation

As the Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist your key responsibilities include:

·         Providing both long & short-term work, which includes being able to undertake clinical assessments to determine clinical needs & treatment plans

·         Providing clinical supervision to the Assistant Psychologist

·         Offering specialist clinical advice including the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care within the service

An ideal Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience of working in mental health and a strong motivation to work in forensic services

·         Experience of working in mental health and complex presentations, including Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, eating disorders and complex traumas

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

·         Newly Qualified Clinical/Forensic Psychologist will be considered

The successful Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
