Adoption Social Worker, Southwark

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Adoption Social Worker in Southwark, South East London.

The role is part time and working 3 days a week.

The role is to start ASAP and on a 3 month rolling contract.

What we are looking for:
, We need someone with experience who understands the process and legislation surrounding adoption and how it works,
, We need someone that can get running of the ground has a wealth of experience in Adoption.


, Working within systemic framework it is of importance that the successful candidate is able to respond within statutory guidelines and with timeliness to the needs of children, prospective adopters and adoptive families.

Your duties will include:
, Statutory obligations, such as reviews, visiting families, prospective Adopters, managing caseloads, completing PAR Assessments and reviews.


, Work as an effective Team Player, bring an holistic approach to the Service.


, Managing risks; writing reports, undertake interviews, observations, assessments; work with other partner agencies; analytical reporting; case records and management information; experience of working with a diverse range of communities.

Essential Requirements:
, Social Work qualification and registration
, Previous experience as an Adoption Social Worker
