Deputy Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Cockermouth, Cumbria area.

As the Deputy Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers


This special care home is a purpose built care home which supports people with physical and dementia need who require assistance and care


As the Deputy Manager your key duties include:

·         Capable of making decisions in line with company policy and procedure whilst having the service users best interests at the heart of the decision making process

·         Required to line manage a team of staff and have knowledge

·         Understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring they comply with the requirements of CQC and other statutory regulators

·         You will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and manage the Service to the highest standards

·         Ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals


An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience in a similar role that has the passion and drive support the site into becoming an outstanding service

·         Excellent people management skills

·         Strong clinical knowledge and experience in change management

·         Significant experience in leading a large team of Registered Nurses and Support Workers


The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £18.50 - £19.00 per hour.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 38.5 hours a week.
